The best Apple Watch, Samsung and Michael Kors smartwatch deals for Prime Early Access Sale

There are some great days for online sales throughout the year, one of which is Prime Day. Prime Day, which runs from July 11-12 this year, is a great time to score great deals through Amazon on a variety of devices, including Apple Watch and other smartwatches. Apple Watch discounts may be rare but they do exist, and if you have an iPhone, it’s an excellent add-on device to have on your wrist with a multitude of features offered across the entire Apple Watch portfolio.

Although the Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch Ultra and Apple Watch SE are the latest models available, there is still a lot of merit in buying an Apple Watch Series 7 or Series 6 as they offer many of the same features as the Series 8 and only lose one couple of extras. With that in mind, we’re rounding up the best Apple Watch prime deals available in the run-up to the Prime Day sale, and while there aren’t too many yet, we’ll update this feature as more deals appear.

Apple Watch Series 8: Save $70

The Apple Watch Series 8 is the latest Apple Watch model available, and it’s a fantastic device. There’s a wealth of sensors on board, including a body temperature sensor, excellent software experience since watchOS 9, and it works great with iPhones. We’ve had an Apple Watch on our wrists since the device launched in 2015, and we love it. The Series 8 isn’t as bulky as the Watch Ultra and offers excellent performance.

It has a great design, loads of sensors, and more features than you’re likely to know what to do with. This deal sees the 41mm GPS and cellular model cost $429, saving you $70.

Apple Watch Series 7: Save $320

The Apple Watch Series 7 is worth considering as it has many of the same features as the Series 8 watch, including advanced sleep tracking, which is great in use. This is an Apple Watch model that we’ll be keeping an eye out for as the Prime Day sale rolls around, but there’s already a fantastic deal on Amazon that sees huge savings on the GPS and cellular stainless steel model, which is adorable and extravagant and you don’t even need your phone with you.

The Apple Watch Series 7 is not the latest model but it is still an excellent performer. This deal sees a staggering 43% savings, with the 45mm GPS and stainless steel cellular model costing $429.

Apple Watch Ultra

There are currently no deals on the Apple Watch Ultra, although that’s not to say there won’t be discounts as Prime Day approaches. However, it’s the highest-end Apple Watch model and is a very good performer, so if should a bargain appear, then you’ll want to wrap it up very quickly as deals on this model will be rare.

Apple Watch Ultra

The Apple Watch Ultra is the Apple Watch Series 8 on steroids and so much more. It is boosted to offer a rougher and more ready device with not only a stronger casing, but also a bigger one, along with a bigger display, more tactile buttons and even extra buttons.

Apple Watch SE (2nd generation)

As with the Apple Watch Ultra, there are currently no introductory offers available for the Apple Watch SE (2nd generation), although again, it’s possible we’ll see some appear as Prime Day approaches. “The Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) is the cheapest way to get your hands on a current generation Apple Watch model, and it’s a decent price too, even without a deal.” However, we will keep an eye on these models as offers appear, because if you can get this model for the money, you will laugh.

Apple Watch SE (2022)

Apple’s entry-level watch is an absolute star, with excellent features and top-notch fitness tracking at a very reasonable price.

FAQs

Q: What should you consider when choosing an Apple Watch?

There are a number of things to consider when choosing an Apple Watch. First, make sure you have an iPhone as Apple Watch doesn’t work with Android devices. You will then need to decide which size you want and these differ between models. For example, the Watch Ultra is only available in 49mm, while the Watch Series 8 and Series 7 are available in 41mm and 45mm options. Meanwhile, the Watch SE is available in 40mm and 44mm. The straps are compatible across all models, but there are also different finishes between models. For example, the Watch Ultra is made of titanium and has an additional action button, while the Watch Series 8 and Series 7 are available in aluminum and stainless steel. The SE watch is only available in aluminum. You’ll also need to decide if you want GPS only or GPS and cellular. The GPS and cellular model allows your Apple Watch to work independently of your iPhone, but you’ll need a separate contract.

Q: When is Prime Day 2023?

Amazon Prime Day takes place from July 11-12 and there are expected to be big savings and discounts on a wide range of products. The 48-hour event kicks off on July 11 at 00:01 (GMT) and concludes at 23:59 on July 12, but there is often business to be wrapped up before the event itself. Prime Day sales often offer deals similar to what we see in Black Friday sales later in the year, though they’re exclusive to Amazon rather than running across a number of retailers. This is also the case with the Prime Early Access Sale, which ran in October for 2022.

Q: Are there any original deals on Prime Day?

Yes, there are genuine deals during the Prime Day sale, and you’ll often find devices priced as low as they could have been for several months, though that’s not to say the deals will be the lowest priced they’ve ever been. Other sale days like Black Friday will also have seen discounts on some devices. Prime Day deals are competitive and you’ll often get a decent discount on some devices, but remember you don’t have as much time as you might on other sales like the Black Friday sales, so if you see a deal, grab it since 24 hours later is the price is likely to return to its original sale price.

Q: Do I need to be a Prime member?

You really have to be a Prime member to be able to take advantage of Prime Day sales. That’s one of the caveats. If you want to get access to the best prices on Prime Day, you’ll need to make sure you have your Prime membership ready. For those who don’t have a Prime membership, it’s worth checking out the 30-day free trial to experience some of the other benefits you get with Amazon Prime, such as free delivery, Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Reading, and more .
